BestTechie.net has been moved to a dedicated server. The host is located in Germany ( http://www.exportal.pl ). The specs are the following:
Intel P4 1.6GHz
512MB RAM
80GB HDD
1000GB traffic
We’re running Lighttpd, not Apache so that will help keep loads down (less threads). Also, we’re using software called Webmin to help manage the site. Webmin is similar to CPanel and DirectAdmin, but free.
I’d like to say thanks to the following people for helping me with setting up the server and getting everything working: Phil, Pierce, and Allan all deserve a big thanks.
The site should be fully operational. If however, you do run into a problem or something isn’t working right for you, please post it or contact me via Email and I will look into it ASAP.
