Ustream.tv a site that I have discussed in the past, which allows you to broadcast yourself live on the Internet. With Ustream you can create your own show and talk about essentially what you would like – tech, sports, cooking, etc. However, in order to be successful, well, it takes some work. So do you have what it takes to be a great broadcaster? The odds are most likely, if you follow these very simple tips.
- Be creative and spontaneous – people like that
- Be interesting and know what you’re talking about
- Be interactive with your viewers – don’t just sit there and expect people to come watch you
- Be appreciative – don’t take your viewers for granted
- Be you – don’t try and be someone you are not
If you can master those 5 easy-to-follow tips chances are you will become a successful broadcaster. One last thing to remember is that success does not occur over night – do not be discouraged if you start out with only a few viewers, keep doing what you are doing – the viewers will come.
