Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware is honestly, the most advanced anti-malware application I’ve seen to date. However, while it is advanced and can remove even the toughest malware, the user interface is clean, simple, and easy to navigate and understand.
Reasons why I love Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware:

Banana Jack, I’m Jeff - I own BestTechie.net and no, I do not work for Malwarebytes.
I have had to battle Vundo and a couple other trojans on a coworkers computer (and I’m not even IT, I did it as a favor so he wouldn’t have to explain how he got it) and it took FOREVER with HJT and Vundofix, etc… MalwareBytes program is hands down the BEST program, it destroys the stuff easy without having to reboot into safe mode, etc.. I just hope the bad guys don’t figure out how to beat it.

I’ve been using Malwarebytes anti-malware to remove the rogue program Anti-Virus 2008 XP and it’s not removing it completely from my system even though it says it has quarantined the trojans. Can anyone help me on this?
Outstanding software! Well worth the cost. The small memory footprint, and detection rates are head and shoulders above all other top rated apps in this field. Only problem I have with it, is that it does not offer an option to simply update the definitions file, as opposed to constantly downloading, and re-installing any newer versions of the program itself. Not necessary at all if I simply want new definitions.
9 out of 10!
Use FileAssasain to delete and find the locked antivirius 2008.exe and delete
