I Bought A Mac Pro

Today I ordered my Mac Pro LIVE on stream - it was exciting and I can’t wait to get it! The specs are below. You really need to watch the video too!

Mac Pro Specs:

Two 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
2GB (2×1GB) - I ordered another 8GB from OWC (Other World Computing) so it will be a total of 10GB.
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB
1TB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s - I will also be adding 2 of my own 320GB 7200-rpm SATA 3Gb/s drives.
One 16x SuperDrive
APPLE MIGHTY MOUSE
WIRED KEYBD/USERS GUIDE

Total Price: $3,004.00 (System) + $340 (Additional RAM) = $3,344.00

Not too bad at all!  I’ll have an unboxing video up as soon as it arrives and of course, a review video after some serious usage.

Is osx 64-bit? And really, what are you going to do with that much RAM?

Yes it is. I’ll be running multiple applications (some CPU/RAM intensive) including virtual machines and probably some video/audio editing occasionally.
