My girlfriend Mandy pointed this commercial out to me this morning and I decided I had to make a video on it warning everyone about it. FinallyFast.com which is owned by a company called Ascentive has a few products they have recently been heavily promoting, namely, PC SpeedScan Pro, Active Speed, PC Scan and Sweep, and lastly, Spyware Striker Pro. Stay away from any of these applications they are a complete scam.

First of all, the claims they make are completely ridiculous. You cannot speed up your Internet connection by 375% by simply running an application whether it be Cable, DSL, or Dial-up. Their advertisements are completely bogus if you notice they use Macintosh computers in the ads, while the application only runs on Windows. Additionally, they say on their website that they were featured in Newsweek, Forbes, and the Wall Street Journal however do not provide a link to the write-ups on any of the websites – a bit strange if you ask me.

I do not trust any application that claims it will clean out registry errors or remove “orphaned” entries. These applications generally can find problems on brand-new computers with a fresh install of Windows. Do not buy this software. If you need to remove spyware and/or adware from your computer please download and install Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware.

I downloaded the scan test from web site and attemped to run The free checkup and all I got was a report that said My computer was not up to par (no details given) and I needed to download there products (For a fee) to fix all my problems still without any scan results, other than I need to buy ther prodcuts, thinking this is a bunch of crap, I left the site and found that they had left start up ads that keep popping up, after removing all there crap through add/remove process I still get there pop ups about every two to three days at start up, and cant find any thing except exit program ( A temp fix)then 2 to 3 days later the ads reappear and no way to remove all files except exit program, (again a temp fix)I have had trojan progam warnings 4to5 times aday since visiting there site, I advise anyone not to take the free scan I found out nothing that I did not already and it appears that all I did was open the door for spyware and pop ups
If any one knows how to remove this Adware, spyware, trojan or what ever the hell is, without having to purchase alot of there crap please post info

Heheheheheh I just saw this commercial too and what called my attention is why do they keep switching from a pc to a mac but keep using windows software? and the errors messages that they show us have never appeared on windows, only the fake BSOD which in my opinion it looked like a screen saver.

I knew it was a scam from the start!

I use Advanced Windows Care Pro for all those kind of problems and to date it works just fine!!

Are you a computer administrator? Meaning is your account on the computer an Administrator account? Also, what operating system are you using? XP? Vista?
