Foursquare Launches Its BlackBerry App

Foursquare Launches Its BlackBerry App

Foursquare users who have a BlackBerry it’s time for you to rejoice!  Foursquare has officially launched their BlackBerry application.  Granted the application is still in beta, it seems to be pretty stable according to some user reports.

The Foursquare BlackBerry application is supported on most BlackBerry devices (essentially any BlackBerry with a trackball).  However, Storm owners fear not, it will work on that too and a special touch screen version of the app is in the works.  I should note the application for the BlackBerry is currently limited (hence the beta tag), but it is missing a few main features such as the ability to add friends and view nearby tips.

Foursquare says those features will be added in the near future so stay tuned!  Have you tried the BlackBerry app yet?  What do you think about it?  See more screenshots after the jump.
