Panasonic Sdr H20 Problem blank screen

I cant see anything on the screen on video recording mode even after removing the cap .
i can still record the sound if i press the record button but it doesnt record any images.
Please help.

Take it back before the return policy expires.
Tell them what it is doing and have them replace it or show you how to work it.
