My local cell company was bought out by Verizon, they gave me an Motorola w755 model phone. I sent myself a couple ringtone's from http://www.myxer.com The problem I have found so far is that one of the files starts out as a mp3 then for some reason it converts to an aac when it gets to my phone. With it in that form then I cannot set it as a ringtone on my phone. I tried saving it to my desktop as a midi file then email it to my phone but still does the same thing. I am stumped.

You will need to download a Motorola update and P2kCommander plus use a cable, such as for a digital camera, from your computer to the phone. It is basically the same way I transfer ringtones and wallpaper to my Motorola Razr.

after much work I found those programs work but I had to go to an earlier version of p2k commander the 4.9.E. Then it worked for me. Thanks much for your help :-)
