Here is a nice little speed test for your connection.
Net/performance Test
It must not be to accurate or my fiberoptic cable is faster then I thought. 5293 Kb high end and 4444 Kb on the low end, doing three test on it.

I'm on a wireless connection, about 3 miles from receiver. I get 800+ to Linkline at DSl reports.com

Ran all Free ones.
High end - Nibble Info Systems 1798 Kb
Low end - CableONE 1280 Kb
