The web is absolutely abuzz over Apple’s iCloud introduction. Right now if you type the letters “ic” into Google it’s the immediate first several suggestions (take that ice and Ichabod Crane). When the second generation release of Apple’s famed iPad tablet came around a couple of months back, I must admit that I was somewhat tempted to buy into the phenomenon at the time.  The device seemed very much improved in comparison to the first generation, and for the first time the iPad seemed like a [...]

It’s not exactly a new idea to hear that development for Google’s Android mobile platform is far less profitable than development on Apple‘s competing iOS; the platform utilized on Apple iPhones, iPod Touches, and the company’s wildly successful iPad tablet.  However, until now the only real evidence that we’ve seen of this phenomenon has been [...]

Even though Apple is a successful and growing company right now, there is no denying that the business went through a rough patch a while back; before the iPhone, iPad, and even Macintosh computer became popular fixtures in our modern society.  Sure, Apple was wildly successful when it was first formed, but there was definitely [...]

Even if you cannot appreciate the technology and innovation that Apple‘s second generation iPad brought to the mobile market, there really is no denying the fact that the device has been incredibly successful in overtaking and dominating that tablet market.  With the second generation product having hit shelves more than two months ago now I [...]

MobileMe is one of those services that we all love to hate. Sure, it offers a spectacular email account and synchronization services that can be used between multiple devices, but with a price-tag of $99 per year, your average user typically isn’t going to get their money’s worth out of the service. That’s not to say, though, that there aren’t some people who MobileMe makes a lot more sense for.

There have been a lot of rumors lately about the next iteration of MobileMe, potentially called, iCloud or apparently known internally at Apple as Castle.  All of this got me thinking.  We all know that MobileMe has been somewhat of a flop for Apple.  According to a recent report, Steve Jobs was so angry by [...]
